I'm hoping for a later ice out so the fish can spawn under the cover the shore ice and high tail it out to sea before they are gill netted close to shore!
Good Thought Rick. I certainly hope that you are correct and that could happen. We get very upset when the netters show up in front of our homes at our Malmo Bay lakeshore. Some things are just not right and some things are flagrantly wrong. The gill netting is ridiculous in each category. Maybe a later ice out will help this year. We can all hope. take care, Mike
