It's -5 degrees right now. And we're making ice. Even with the 10+ inches of snow we got here yesterday. No highs predicted over 40 degrees for the next week, so the weather might fudge some of the predictions. (We're still using extentions!)

Geez,

Those poor indians might not get too many walleyes if they can't get their nets out with the ice floating around. It sure was a mess here a couple of years ago with twelve nets getting caught in the ice flow. Not to mention the poor fellas in them birch bark 18 foot Lunds that had to get rescued trying to get their nets out cuz the ice flow trapped 'em.
