Ice cleats for boots, pain in the foot?

The ice cleats i have are strap on and have a metal piece in the middle ball of my foot. They work ok but give me sore feet after i fish with them Any brand or make you guys use tha are more omfortable? Regards Greg

I use hex head screws in the sole of my boots, short enough not to due damage but they work great
