Ice house repair advice needed

I bought an Ice Castle Ice house with the standard drop down crank 6 years ago and everything worked fine for a couple of years.  I forgot to grease the pivot point and now both sides will not drop down.  I have tried beating on it with a sledge hammer, heating it up and beating on it(suggestions from Ice Castle), spraying WD40 on it etc.... but can not get it to move.  This assembly is the type that has a solid shaft welded to the frame, probably a solid 1 7/8" or 2" shaft that sticks out from the side, the drop down wheel assembly slides over this shaft, followed by a spacer ring and then a bolt.  Apparently the wheel assy is rusted to the welded solid shaft.  Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get the wheel assy to come loose?  Or do you think I am going to need a torch and cut it off?  If so where can I get a pair of new drop down wheel assy's.  Thanks!

Penetrating oil...soak it daily until it breaks loose. Fleet Farm has some good products. I would get a foaming one, rather than WD-40. Good luck !!! Hurry ..Ice is coming !!!

I am in the process of soaking it with JD80 from Fleet Farm.  The grease sert broke off when I tried to remove it and the hole is filled with rust also.  Do not know if anything will penetrate it.  I am going to keep hitting it with the JD80 for a week and then try heating it up again and beating on it.  Fortunately the wheels are in the down location so if I have to take it somewhere I can pull it.  Anyone know of anyone that can repair this issue?  Thanks

Most welding shops build trailers. I would think that one might take on your job and get it repaired for you.

If you must look at a welding shop in Mille LAcs area: One of the best local Welding shops is:

Tramm's Welding   (Wyatt is the owner)

They do excellent work. about 7 miles south of Isle on hwy 47.

Tramm's Welding on Hwy 47

34994 Highway 47, Isle, MN 56342

The welding shop that built all of those trailers is in Vesta, MN but I cant think of the name of it right now.  My 2004 blew a wheel bearing at Red Lake one year on Superbowl Sunday and wrecked the assembly.  The shop in Vesta had an entire wheel assembly including the fender, etc. speedy delivered to me at Rogers Campground in a day and we fixed it in minutes (although mine was not rusted).  I know they could repair it for you to new conditions.....

Just wanted to thank everyone for your assistance, so far I am soaking it with JD80 and plan on applying some heat this weekend. I talked with CW Weld and they informed me that they have gone away from that design. They can replace the wheel assemblies for me for around $1500 to $1600 but will also compensate me back $ for the parts removed depending on the condition of the hubs and wheels. The old wheels are 5 lug and the new design has 6 lugs. Hope to be on the ice this winter. Thanks
