MM looks at:

 - what Tat2jonnie and

 -  Bobber just said in the threads;

 - then I call Tony Roach by cell. nod.gif

 - He is usually ice trolling on north flats away form everyone. nod.gif

 - Then I go to: Hunter''s Pt (Guide House) to see Doug and the Ertl gang or nod.gif

 - to the Red Door to see Bobber or best is do BOTH. smile

You cannot loose if you do BOTH. nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif

Some days you go fishing and some days you go fishing and get bites.

Then I take some cold ones to Tat2jonnies house and we talk it over.  smilewink

This is Fishing Philosophy. nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif

Me and Tat2jonnie and Ms. Jody have been known to have a few cold ones when we can celebrate after work. I am pretty lucky it seems to have such good friends.

So Life is pretty good some evenings up near the Red Door or at Malmo Bay.nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif

Then I get out the secret weapon, the Wild Turkey American Honey liquore. This is quite popular at the Ertl compound as well.

Then the fishing stories get real good with a cold one to chase it as needed. Sometimes Dave (Jon's neighbor) helps us out.

Thank God for such good friends.smilenod.gifsmile

I find using a forum thread can be a great way to get to a hot bite a week late I try to go to a new lake every year and get to know it a little. I go back to the places that I really enjoy. I have learned a lot from web sites but it is more trying new things or general info like shallow or gravel etc.

I think Bob is looking for info regarding where and why you choose a resort to go out of--not fishing spots once your are out there.

Howdy Glenn, smile

Pam & Kathy will have a ball here at the beach and pool. Get your butt on that plane please.wink

We are now at Maui Ocean Club at Kaanapali after a nice non-stop flight down from Denver. The palm trees are gorgeous as  is the 'scenery' at the swimming pools and Jaccuzzi. Someone has to go to Maui.

You and I are playing King Kamehameha GC Tuesday at 9:30AM HT. It is the best private course on the island.

Be there or be square. MM biggrinbiggrinbiggrin

Howdy Glen, Happy Hump Day from Ka'anapali. smilesmilesmilewink

I played the King Kamehameha GC Tuesday morning as planned. Beautiful course but tough winds. The trade winds made it a little breezy but my golf partner and I got in 18 holes and finsihed the last holes with 4 pars each.

Today we are laying low at the pool and taking a few images of the sun on the cliffs og Molokai and Mauna Loa - famous for the macadamia nut farms of course... someone has to drink beer and eat macadamias on Maui.

I have booked my flights home for the May Opener and Ertl campfire. I hope and trust that we can still fish walleyes after this harvest limit controversary.

ALoha and Mahalo from Malmo Maui Mike MMM biggrinbiggrinbiggrin
