circle hooks on rattle reels?

with all the new regs coming out this coming year. does or has anyone used circle hooks on their rattle reels? if so, what r your thoughts on them.

We use them when we have the suckers on, rattle reel or tip up, they hook really well.

I wasnt sure how good of a hook up u would get. Have heard plenty of people using them open water but nothing really during the hard water season. So do u just grab the line and starting pulling them in just like u would during the open water?
