Didn't get out on the water until Saturday evening abouts 7:30. Found the water as clear as it was the week before with bugs floating on the surface. Had a water temp of 61 and headed out to do some evening bobber fishing with family and friends. We had 4 boats cover a rock bottom and all setup close together to enjoy some banter talk. Glens brother in law managed 2 walleye and a rock bass. My cousin Mike's boat pulled in a few just over eyes and Chris had the hot boat. I think they ended with about 4-5 fish with one keeper? My boat got skunked. It was a fun time out there with the kids, but i thought the fishing was going to be a little better than it was.
On Sunday I went out to two mile and did some drifting and bobber fishing. Not much going on for me out there either. I did see a few big fish caught but they weren't on my line. I found the fish to be very elusive on the graph with only a few fish here and there. I did get a pretty good burn though. oh well. Next time.
That's pretty much what happened for us in my boat, too. No wind = no fish. I went to couple different flats Saturday morning and had a tough time even marking fish. I'd mark one here or there and tough to get them to bite. I did not see a lot of fish being caught either. I know a couple guys that pulled lead that didn't have much to complain about.
