The foundation of entertainment industry is voice over industry. Without sound the beauty of a video, no matter how great it may be, can't be perceived in a way it deserves. Somehow it feels incomplete. Therefore the voice over helps us fill in all the gaps necessary  with informations that when combined with video allows us to soak in the content more intuitively and effectively as compared to only the visuals.
