My son and friend were up on on the lake this weekend and left the fishhouse, with a vehicle parked next to house, and generator running, to go get something to eat gone for 1 hour and they come back and someone has stolen the generator.
Be careful with your stuff and watch out for your neighbors.
I'm sorry to hear about the generator....Damn people, you just can't trust anyone anymore.
It's a wicked world that we all now live in........I just wish that someone would get "caught once in the act"!
My good friend lost a auger off his sled last week up on Cedar Lake by Aitkin. He lost it off his sled either on the lake or by his yard and drive way. He drove back on his path looking for it, thinking that he may had left it in his fish house on the lake...no it was gone.....
Lets all start looking after one another! if you find something try and return it. If you see something that does not look right...get involved...ask some questions!!

After getting ripped off last summer of my fishing gear, you think the winter would have slowed the thieves down. No such luck. I hope someone catches them and throws them down a hole.
The days you could leave your gear out and not worry are over!
Its sad, but, the best protection seems to be to lock it down or keep it in the house. I've had a couple of questionable "drive-by vehicles during the past 2 years. Theives are always on the lookout for things to steal. I would be willing to bet that they saw your son and his friend drive away and took advantage of their absence.
I agree with Bobber, we need to lookout for each other and take some action!
Its pretty sad that those aholes get away with that. Hopefully one of us will get our hands on them and show them some justice. I had all of my fishing stuff stolen out of the boat last year so im still looking for revenge. I now have to try to take all my stuff home from the fishhouse so the aholes dont get it. Its alot of extra work to try to keep your stuff when there are aholes like that out there!
