Three of us fished all day Tuesday, from Sunset Bay South. Moved shallow , moved deep, around the island , but mostly in 32 feet . Caught over 50 small perch in the 3-5 inch range and only one 10 incher. Tried every normal perch lure we owned and still no change. Spikes, wax worms and minnows, still wouldnt produce anything of size. Highlight of the day was getting to see our friend Paul at Appledorns, who is always willing to point us in the right direction. On this trip he said we should have stayed home. The good news is we know it is only going to get better.
They were plowing the main roads all day yesterday. Strong winds the last few days had caused some serious drifting in areas. For the most part trucks were getting all over.
