Yes definitely a terrible/sad situation, but I heard this morning that Carlsona was going into Foreclosure on Monday just hours after in burnt down. It sounds a little fishy to me, and if thats the case someone definitely has a terrible situation on their hands. Jail time with a 24/7 boyfirend. Yikes

   Unfortunately, there are a gazillion rumors flying around the lake when something like this happens. Fact of the matter is, it all affects us when something in our playground gets broke and needs fixing. (I'm a Carlsona Beach hat club member)
   One of my favorite places to fish when the walleyes are in the sand is the humps right out in front of the restaurant, so it's going to be a reminder every time I fish there. (And the thousands of other fishermen that have caught their limit there)
   I just want to offer my condolences to Ron and Jenny. I hope that everything works out and our swingset gets fixed............................... wink

Be that as it may, the people on this website are not about talking about other people's misfortunes!!! So until cause is ascertained by professionals and reported regarding the fire, keep it to yourself... thank you

With Carlsona restaurant gone where do we go for a good lunch or dinner of that quality without driving too far????

Hunter's Point ain't far, and there's the best Kowabungas on the lake. Never heard of 'em runnin' out of beer or anything...Good people there, too. Might even see a bartender you know there! Who knows!

I would have to agree with Jon. The burgers and home-made pizza at Hunters cannot be beat. No frozen beef patty here folks! Grade A hand patted patties!

And the pizza is the real deal.
