In the good old days it used to be +5000, i think that number is sub 3000 now... im guesing 2841. :->

I would guess on a weekend, over 5000... permanents, yeah closer to 3000. ALthough this is way more houses than recent years, when you drive into Hunters, there are very few on shore this year !!!

I think I saw somewhere that the MN DNR decided not to do the annual fly over fish house count.

It might have been in the local paper.......

Ya! With all the Minnesota budget cuts, You would think that the DNR should have better things to do than count fish houses.
