I don't think I've ever been more excited for an opener. The past few years I've spent atleast a few days down in Red Wing fishing in April, so opener was just another day on the water instead of the first day of the year. Maybe I'll have to go chase some panfish in a couple weeks just so I can get the boat out.

Yup -- I have the major form of walleye fever; I just got my boat all 'water ready' this week at Lybacks Marine. The only cure is to catch a walleye or two and have Walleye Wanda come floating up to my dock this year! The Glen and have cold ones.
I dropped off the trolling motor on monday to get the autopilot fixed. I need to tear the boat appart and run some new wires and hopefully install a new HD unit soon.
