Net buoy?

Just logged into the Mille Lacs webcam page & watched what looked like a net buoy go past on the webcam looking out towards hawkbill point-  If it was a buoy, it was white, cylinder shaped & would submerge from time to time as it went past, like it had something attached...  I logged in at 12:38pm today..

I will check it out on the time lapse and see if we can uncover this. I will post pictures of my findings.

Thanks

I picked up 2 home made milk carton bouys out there last week.  Saw another one but let that one be.  Could just be a couple of knucleheads with no gps....  Weighted with only about 1/2 on washers on fishing line.  Easy to get bown away.

Were all the lost nets found this year? Or is that privilaged info locked up in the tribal COs vault, never to be seen, never happened?

That sounds like knuckle heads Jon....good for you to pick them up.

FYI, my brothers and I (Malmo Ton, Malmo Don and Malmo Mike) along with my nephew Dan (Wild Ass Walleye Dan) found no 'lost' nets n Malmo Bay areas along our property.

We hope that this was GOOD NEWS?! nodisbeliefconfuseconfuseconfuse

I feel it is likely some 'lost' nets were pulled out into deep water with ice flows and sunk -- but as you say we will never get the truth on the unattended net debacle.

Anyone else find lost nets? confuse

I suspect that Tat2jonnie and Bobber had a trophy board of found net buoys?!~@winkblankstare

I have contributed to the legal fund and we must cointinue to do so. It is our best hope. nod.gifnod.gifnod.gif

At the speeds some of these Optimaxes and such reach, I just hope that some of the nets that never were recovered don't end up in the props....

They'll tear the transoms right off some of those glass boats!

That one was found in the ice flow from the lake that made such a stir on CBS.
