I will go December 15th for walking / ATV and December 28th for houses.

Looks a little more 'normal ' this year after the very cold year in 2010.

Malmo Mike's estimate:

1. December 20th - walk on ice ; maybe a 4-wheeler on 12/23/11.

2. December 27th - first Fish houses out.

3. December 29th - Malmo Mike arrives at HP House # 13 and gets 4 keepers.

I'm saying 12/12 for 4" of ice out 1 mile or so (walking/.wheelers out). After that'll be iffy for about a week until the lake locks in and freezes solid. Give that an average of 1" a day, and 12/22 for pulling light houses................

I say on foot in Isle or Cove by 12/7. First house pulled from SE corner on 12/20.
