Everest Base Camp Trek: A Journey to the Foot of the World's Highest Mountain

The Everest Base Camp (EBC) Trek is one of the world's most iconic high-altitude treks, taking hikers through the heart of Nepal's Khumbu region to the base of Mount Everest (8,849m). Starting with a scenic flight into Lukla, the trail winds through Sherpa villages, suspension bridges, rhododendron forests, and Sagarmatha National Park, offering close-up views of peaks like Ama Dablam, Lhotse, and Nuptse. Along the way, trekkers pass through Namche Bazaar, Tengboche Monastery, and Dingboche before reaching Everest Base Camp (5,364m) and often climbing Kala Patthar (5,545m) for the best panoramic sunrise view of Everest itself.
